Anecdotal Information
Interview with Thomas Sydnor on June 23, 2010: The building was built by two sisters who liked living separately but still wanted to be close to each other. One of the sisters was afraid of fire so the apartment she lived in has no fireplaces, however there are fireplaces on all the other floors of the building. Interview with Flo Traywick on June 11, 2010: The apartments were built by sisters and are set up in an H formation. The first and third floors have four apartments, and the 2nd floor only has two apartments. For the complete interview with former resident Flo Traywick, please see "Rivermont Memories" under "About Us."
