Early 20th-century commercial. 1-story, 3-bay concrete-block commercial building with a concrete cornice and brick veneer on the main facade. Main entrance is flanked by large display windows and is topped by a 7-light full-width transom.

According to the Lynchburg City Directory, this building has served a variety of puposes over the years: from 1949-1954 Half Hour Laundromat, from 1955-1956 Virginia Laundry Co. Inc., from 1957-1961 The Rivermont Washing Well, and from 1962-1964 Richland Recording Co. Inc. (a recording studio). Vacant for several years, from 1971-1973 this was the Family Stamps Co., from 1974-1983 Brown's Tropical Fish & Pet Supplies, in 1984 Vacuum Cleaner Center, from 1985-1992 G & G Video Inc., from 1993-1995 All City Boxing Academy, and in 2003 Harvest Fire Cathedral Praise. The building housed the Rivermont Studio, an art gallery and studio, from 2008-2018.
